Dr. Nanavati received his bachelor's degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey and continued his education at New York University College of Dentistry where he received his doctorate in dental surgery. During his time at New York University, Dr. Nanavati was selected into the Esthetics Honors program. A highly selective one year training program focusing on veneers, ceramic crowns and bonding techniques.

Dr. Nanavati continued his post-graduate education at New York Hospital Queens, a major teaching affiliate of the New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System and the Weil Medical College of Cornell University. Here he received extensive training in fixed prosthodontics and surgical dentistry and worked extensively with medically compromised and developmentally disabled patients. He has also received continuing education in implant prosthetics and smile makeovers.

In 2010 Dr. Nanavati received his fellowship from the prestigious International Congress of Oral Implantology, for advanced practices in the field of implant dentistry.

Dr. Nanavati's professional memberships include the American Dental Association, International Congress of Oral Implantology, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Nassau County Dental Society.
